Silkeborg Bibliotek, Silkeborg

Silkeborg is a town of about 43 000 inhabitants in the middle of Jutland/Jylland. The building of Silkeborg Bibliotek (Silkeborg Library) is well fitted in its environment. The indoor design with its nice aesthetics creates a cosy atmosphere in different areas and for various activities. In the Danish way the opening hours are generous for self-service but more limited with service. Recently the library has opened a creative workshop called Makerspace & Mediebox.
