Pimlico Library, Westminster

  • September 2025

Pimlico Library is one of several public libraries in the well-established City of Westminster, part of Greater London. The library operates within the centrally located Westminster Adult Education Service Centre. It is open every weekday. As one of the branches in the Westminster library system, its collection is not very large. Like many other British libraries, music, newspapers, magazines, and some additional services are available only online. On the other hand, there is a variety of tabletop board games available for borrowing. The library offers free Wi-Fi and areas equipped with computers, though there are no separate study or work rooms. Some materials may require a borrowing fee. Pimlico Library is also home to a Library of Things — a community initiative where people can share items and skills to save money. In practice, this works as a rental system, allowing you to borrow everything from carpet cleaners to drills. THREE stars: Good
