December 2025
Corralejo, a town of around 16,000 inhabitants located on the northern tip of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, hosts its public library on the outskirts of the town. The library is housed in a modern building shared with other cultural facilities. Considering the size of the population, it offers a solid level of services and well‑maintained premises. The atmosphere inside the library is quiet and conducive to study, making it a suitable place for focused work. It is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., although during the summer months it closes earlier, at 2:00 p.m. The collection includes books not only in Spanish but also in other languages. The library is part of BICA, the cooperative online library network of the Canary Islands, which connects all seven islands. With a single free library card, users can search, reserve, and renew materials online. TWO stars: Acceptable
