Leipziger Stadtbibliothek, Leipzig

Leipzig is the 8^th biggest city in Germany with its 620 000 inhabitants. It has a rich musical heritage and is also known for its fairs and book publishing. Leipiziger Stadtbibliothek (The Leipzig City Library) is situated in the city centre in an old imposing museum building from 1895. The building is spacious and offers possibility to develop and enlarge services. But it is not easy to find way here, especially for impaired visitors. The collection of books, music and film is impressive like the different service areas. Everything seems to be very well organized but there could be more comfy and relaxed areas and a café.
