The Alcazar, a former music-hall and a variety theatre, is today the central municipal library, Bibliotheque de l´Alcazar. It is centrally situated in the city and has spacious premises with a lot of reading places. The collection is big but consists mainly of books in French. There are many cultural activities. The facilities are well-planned for disabled people. The use of wifi and internet is limited and there is an annual fee for the library card. The library is closed on Sundays and Mondays. THREE stars: Good.
