Bibliothèque de l’Alcazar, Marseille

The Alcazar, a former music-hall and a variety theatre, is today the central municipal library, Bibliotheque de l´Alcazar. It is centrally situated in the city and has spacious premises with a lot of reading places. The collection is big but consists mainly of books in French. There are many cultural activities. The facilities are well-planned for disabled people. The use of wifi and internet is limited and there is an annual fee for the library card. The library is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
